RSVP kept charging my account as if I had agreed to a membership..though I had bought a one off offer and gad terminated my account. I contacted support and they told me via email that my account was suspended and in order to activate it I had to provide my drivers license or my passport.
I just realised if I put my profile name into google my apparently hidden photo comes up in google. I’m not willing to do either as there’s too much personal information on there, ie address.
I have found that when I get a positive response to me making first paid contact nothing will happen, ignorance by no response, now I'm not doing anything more than making general greetings and remarks about the profile yet I have found I get no reply, like I bought a girl a drink in a bar only for her to walk away with it without a word (something that has never happened to me in a real life situation nor would I expect) if I am doing it wrong let me know but I am sure I have not been rude, but the lack of response burns as this seems to only happen to me on a paid site.
The site is filled with the same old woman who are serial daters and looking for mr impossible.
Please save your money and time and don’t bother no idea how they can still continue to use a system to change for single contact with a member. Don't buy stamps ahead because if you want out they don't do refunds.
How can this be when the site charges you for privacy settings????? They won’t give me a reason why only to say it’s written in the terms and conditions.
I’ve always been polite and responded to kisses and emails, have put up recent photos etc. What happens to the scammers and people who don’t respond to kisses etc.??
I recently took advantage of what appeared to be a one-off deal for $39 involving me receiving 3 stamps and premium membership for 1 month and after finding a partner through the site I had set my profile to "taking a break" from RSVP.
Unbeknown to me, despite obviously no longer being active on the site, I continue to be charged at a rate p/month. Spammed by user who was removed, but in replying to the spammer before they were banned, it used stamps which rsvp would not replace when I kindly asked them to they would not look into it and just wanted to make it too hard, they only allow 3 contacts for and one of these was the spammer! Went onto this site and paid good money for lots of stamps. Then they charged my card a further to renew I fought it through my bank and won! Rsvp advertise on google as a christian dating site which is deception. Their policy said if you don’t get a reply to “kisses” after a certain amount of days we’ll refund to you .....doesn’t happen !Then they keep sending me loads of promotion emails so I demanded they remove me and all data associated with my account! I joined the basic plan and paid odd dollars for 6 months - you'd think that be enough to start a conversation with someone within this dating site BUT in order to actually chat I now am asked to PAY more to connect to men who find me approachable. I think an organisation like ASIC needs to have a look at their business model and how they’re treating consumers. I wish I read these review before handing over my money!I don't recommend RSVP I recently rejoined and it had many of the same photos as it did ten years ago.
